Hideya Nagata is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He originally worked for Nihon Falcom and Dempa Shinbunsha, but also worked for a few other companies as well.

Nagata no longer works on music or video games.

Hideya never wrote for the NES, but his compositions were arranged by Advance Communication Company's sound team in Sound Routine in 6502 assembly.
