Masato Araikawa is a Japanese composer and musician. Devoted to music since young, he started taking on music production work while working as an electric bass instructor and eventually found himself regularly doing so for the sound production studio Phase Out.

Through them, Araikawa worked on a number of games for Sunsoft, most notably on their Neo Geo games. He also scored but went uncredited on several other titles from the company, going by the name of the studio who hired him to work on them.
