Shinobu Nagata (永田 しのぶ), born Shinobu Tanaka (田中 しのぶ), is a Japanese sound and music composer who has worked for Nintendo's sound department since 2000. She is most known for her work on the titles Super Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, and various entries in the Mario Kart series. Sometime in the mid-2000's, she transferred from Nintendo EAD to Nintendo SPD.
