Title Origin Official

Running From Evil is a song from Doom II: Hell On Earth (DOS). The song has a nice fast pace to it to get the player into the game. The song starts off with a bass riff, with organs accompanying the bass and drums soon after. The song then repeats, but on its second loop, there is a guitar solo that consists of mostly eighth notes.).

The song was composed by Bobby Prince using Sequencer Plus Gold.

Composition

The main part of the song starts out in the key of E, and the chord progression goes as follows: Em C C♯° Em7(omit5) C Em. The key then shifts back to A, then back to E. Then it goes to these chords twice with slight variations at the end of each one: Gm D D° C. Then the song goes back to the E minor part before resetting for the guitar solo.
