King's Quest is a series of adventure games created by Roberta Williams and published by Sierra On-Line. The games defined the PC adventure genre and became highly praised and enjoyed. There are eight games in the series. Each new engine changed the game play and made the games more generic to play, the 8th departing from the adventure genre entirely and being more of an action RPG.
