Elaine Hodgson (formerly known as Elaine Ditton) is an American video game developer. She was born in Kildeer, Illinois, USA on October 31, 1955. She attended the University of Central Florida and Purdue University. In October 1981, she started work for Marvin Glass and Associates. While working there, she wrote the music and sound effects for some of their arcade games. In May 1983, Elaine left Marvin Glass & Associates and went to work for Action Graphics as a programmer. In June 1985, she left Action Graphics and founded her own game developer, Incredible Technologies, where she still works to this day. The company is best known for its several slot machines, as well as the Golden Tee Golf series of games.
Audio Development
For her arcade games, Elaine used a sound driver by Richard Ditton. The driver utilized two AY-3-8910 chips, which gave her access to six square waves. She most likely had to write the music in assembly language, as was typical of games at the time.

Aliases
Though Elaine never used aliases per se, she was credited in the games she worked on for audio as Elaine Ditton, as she was married to programmer Richard Ditton at the time.
