Yuri Misumi is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and pianist. She joined Namco around 1994 and composed many of their arcade games, mainly the Taiko no Tatsujin series. When she started working on home platforms, she started to work on the company's Katamari Damacy series. She is also known for Dirt Dash, Armadillo Racing, and Cyber Cycles.
In 2010, Misumi departed Namco to work with the music company Monaca, where she also serves as a director. Her work at Monaca mainly involves writing lyrics rather than composing music. She also worked on the soundtrack to the anime Aikatsu!.
