Ys (pronounced like Ease) is an action role-playing game series from Japan. The series was originally developed by Nihon Falcom for several home computers, but was later ported to other platforms by other developers. While these versions were never released outside of Japan, the series was localized for western computers since the first release. In addition, many unofficial English translations have been made to the Japan-exclusive releases, catering to a broader audience.
