Yoichiro Yoshikawa is a Japanese composer, arranger, and producer. He was born in Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture. He graduated from Marugame High School in Marugame, Kagawa Prefecture, after attending Sakaide Elementary School and Junior High School attached to the Faculty of Education, Kagawa University. While a student at Tsukuba University, he joined the butoh group Sankai Juku and began a world tour. Since then, he has been involved in music production for all Sankai Juku productions for over 40 years.
In the 90s, he scored the music to a couple video games. As it was the only game released outside of Japan, he is probably best known for composing the music to P.T.O. II: Pacific Theater of Operations.
