Yannis Brown has been involved with video game development for over eight years and has composed music for games for over 20 years. He is a professional in the video game industry. He has obtained a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. In July 2004, he obtained a degree in audio engineering.
He started his work in August 1995 when he worked for Telsun as a Lead Analyst Programmer. Then, he worked for Object Oriented as the Process Consultant & Analyst Programmer. Later, he worked for GIO Australia as a Conversion Consultant & Graphtalk Programmer. He moved on to People In Computers as a Graphtalk Analyst Programmer. In 2001, he worked for Abbey as a Graphtalk Consultant. In October 2004, he worked for Midway's Australian studios as their Lead Sound Designer. In June 2006, he worked for Foundation 9 Entertainment also working as a Lead Sound Designer. He was also the Lead Sound Designer at Backbone Entertainment. In July 1999, he worked for Groovy Audio as a Director. Ever since 2007, Yannis has been working at Trionworlds as the audio director.

Audio Development
South Park Rally
Brown composed music using Impulse Tracker. Later, his music files were added to game, which uses FMOD sound library.
Game Boy Advance
On Dangerous Xmas, Brown used Impulse Tracker and converted his XM files to MASO System sound driver by someone named fl0w.
On licensed titles, he continues using Impulse Tracker and converting his XM flies to custom sound engine by Webfoot Technologies and Engine Software's sound driver by Jan-Lieuwe Koopmans.
Nintendo DS
Brown mostly used custom sound driver by Webfoot Technologies.
While some games uses Intelligent Systems' Nitro Composer sound driver, Impossible Mission uses Pulse Sound System by Engine Software.
