Unused Theme is a song located in the ROM for Fester's Quest, but is never actually used in the game itself. Because the slap bass DPCM channel is prominently featured, it is thought this song was to test the instrument sample to make sure it boded well with the rest of the instrumentation. This is further supported by the song coming to an abrupt end without looping, suggesting the song may have not been completed by the time the game had to be shipped. If the song was intended to be used in the game, it's possible it may have served as a boss theme.
