Treasure Mountain! is the third installment of The Learning Company's Super Solvers educational series. It is a platform game where you slowly climb a mountain catching elves, solving word problems, and collecting treasures. At the top of the mountain is a castle where the Master of Mischief holds the stolen crown. Each play-through will earn you a new treasure for the club house, and as your score increases, the game becomes more difficult.

The game is quite professional looking, making good use of the limited EGA color palette and supporting several audio outputs. The reading questions are quite simple and targeted to children ages 5-9.

The soundtrack of Treasure Mountain! is made up entirely of three classical works. Two of the songs, those heard at the title and in the castle, are Baroque in style, while the other, the Mountain Theme, is a contra dance. The game supports three audio devices, AdLib, Tandy 3 Voice, and PC Speaker which are numbered 1, 2, and 3 respectively in the recording below.

The audio for the AdLib soundtrack has a nice feature that was widely overlooked in games of this era. Each of the three AdLib songs exists with three different variations. While the tempo and notes of each song remain the same, each variation replaces the instruments for each voice. This small change makes a huge difference in the music's range. Each variation has a sub-track number for the AdLib recording.

Although the exact format is yet unknown, the music of Treasure Mountain is located in the TUNES.* files. TUNES.IBM houses the PC Speaker music and TUNES.TAN houses the AdLib and Tandy 3 Voice music. There are also SFX.IBM and SFX.TAN files which house the sound effects.
