Games
Total Eclipse (C64)
The original version of this tune is rendered on the SID chip. It's one of the longest video game tracks on the Commodore 64 platform, and it's a nice atmospheric tune. It plays during the whole game, but since the game uses all 3 PSG channels of SID for music, the game doesn't have any sounds (contrary to the Amiga or Atari ST version, you can't choose between music only and SFX only).
This tune is the only track in the SID rip. All 3 voices sound different on every SID chip because they use SID's infamous band-reject filter.
Total Eclipse (AMI)
Total Eclipse (AST)
The Atari ST version sounds like the Commodore 64, but has more tinny sound, and its backing voices are louder. It can play music during the real-time rendering of true 3D, but since the game uses all 3 channels of the YM2149F chip for music, it can't play digital sound effects and music at once, so the player has to choose between them.
This tune is the track 1 in the SNDH rip.
Total Eclipse II: The Sphinx Jinx (C64)
The same music as Total Eclipse (C64).
Total Eclipse (CP4)
Total Eclipse 2 (CP4)
Other ports
The MS-DOS, Atari 8-bit, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC ports of these two games don't feature any music.
