Todd Masten is an American composer and sound designer. He graduated Chino High School in 1987. In 1997, he attended the Berklee College of Music for Film Scoring, Music Synthesis and Composition. In July 1999, Masten began his journey into the realm of video game music working for Vicarious Visions. He worked with Vicarious Visions' other composer Manfred Linzner. He implemented Bryan Shutt's recordings and then put it onto their Game Boy Color games. In July 2003, he quit Vicarious and joined Sigil Games Online at the beginning of 2004 and left in October 2007. Then, he worked for Incinerator Studios taking on four roles there; Development Director, Senior Producer, Composer and Sound Designer. He left Incinerator in August of 2011. Since then, Masten has been doing freelance work for not only video games but for television and movies. The music software Masten currently uses is Pro Tools HD 10 and Cubase 6.5. Masten currently lives in Vista, California.
