Title plays at the title screen in the PC-9801 version of Hillsfar.

The song was written by Yasuhiro Kawasaki on the YM2203 OPN chip provided by the PC-9801, most likely in Music Macro Language. Yasuhiro should be contacted for an official title.

Composition

The song is in the 4/4 time signature and in the key of D major. It plays at approximately 131 BPM.

The first portion of the song descends from D to A/C#, Bm, Asus4, and A, all the while the lead instrument plays. This phrase repeats a second time. Then, the chords play in dotted quarter notes Em7 and F#m7 and repeat and end on an Asus4. Then, D, Em, and G. The third time, the song ends on G, A, and finally D. The song then loops from the beginning.

The PSG channel acts as a guitar with a strumming/arpeggio effect, something not heard in many PC-9801 games.
