Platform: PlayStation
Year: 1999
Developer: Paradox Development and Virgin Interactive

Thrill Kill was a 3D modeling room fighting game for 4 that was to be released for the PlayStation platform in the +18 adult-only category due to its explicit and graphic content. This game was never officially released, it was developed by Paradox Development and Virgin Interactive, it was to be published by Activision and Electronics Arts in mid 1998 but in 1998 as a bootleg due to problems with the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and Electronic Arts.

Its very explicit story is about: Ten cursed souls have passed away and have entered hell. Based on the real world of contemporary deviants, this contemporary hell. The characters are the evil that exists within their mortal selves or the physical manifestations of their mental illnesses.

Each character has a history of murder, usually based on the illness or evil that resides within them. The goddess of secrets, Marukka, becomes bored with her usual routine and decides it would be fun to compete with all the characters in a wrestling match for the chance to be reincarnated. Each character fights for nothing more than self-preservation and the hope of being reborn.

Since they could play up to four players at a time using the 'PlayStation Multitap', but it had something special, its theming was adult-only content ('adults only +18 according to the ESRB) due to its sexual content, high content violence, BDSM, fetishes and dismemberment of limbs and violent special moves such as "Bitch Slap", "Swallow This" and "Going Down".

Because of its subject matter, the ESRB had to classify it with the dreaded adults-only (+18) rating, as happened with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2) in 2004, but this one had already been released, in this case by Rockstar Games.

It told Virgin Interactive to stop its development and to be cancelled when its development was finished, as they were not convinced to publish the game for the following reasons: Its content, its theme was not very unattractive, on console Sony does not allow this kind of games with the adult only (+18) rating.

In the end the ROM was later published on the internet and was sold pirated in the American market, it became an outdated game but it seemed that they would be the first to try a 4-player game, The graphics engine Thrill Kill was later used in many other video games.

The Californian industrial music group Contagion recorded 12 tracks in songs covirtiendiendo in a complete soundtrack for the game (which later ended up being included in their own album Infectant).

This band may not stand out much in the life of the games on PlayStation, but they still remain as official or unofficial soundtracks that can be listened to.

When the game was released on PlayStation it is said that a port for Nintendo 64 and possibly one for PC was in development, but it has not been confirmed.

This soundtrack has the characteristic of being equizomaniatic in all aspects in the sense that not very nice things are going to happen, but a kind of rock stuck with rhythm (type if you're going to kill someone) and that were distributed by rounds and bosses.
