Ultimate DOOM is a full copy of DOOM with an additional fourth episode, titled Thy Flesh Consumed, which offers nine levels of more demon-slaying and bigger challenges.

Macintosh version has some advantages, for example a higher resolution (640x480) screen mode is supported.

The Ultimate DOOM includes original soundtrack from DOOM and DOOM II: Hell On Earth, written by Bobby Prince.
