The Cloud was originally composed by Henri Chalifour in AdLib Visual Composer for the Adlib Song Album #7: New Age Echoes.
Games
Sound Blaster 16 (DOS)
The Cloud is used as the background music of the Multimedia Player demo that comes with the software. Original THECLOUD.ROL file was converted by ROL to CMF utility.
While being used for presenting the Sound Blaster 16 capabilities, the player did not utilize OPL3 features, such as stereo sound, dual banking (up to 20 FM voices), and 4OP instruments.
The song is named THECLOUD.CMF and is located in the MMPLAY folder.
Sound Club (DOS)
THECLOUD.CMF file is located at the root directory of the software, it is the same file as in Sound Blaster 16 (DOS) and has the same modification date.
While the CMF format outputs to the FM Synthesis, it was played back with Sound Club's built-in software synthesizer on the Gravis Ultrasound GF1 sound chip, which otherwise does not support FM synth.
