Tetsukazu Nakanishi (also known as Chobin) is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He joined Tecmo around 1994, primarily working in their coin-op division. Around mid-1996, he started working for Namco. There, he worked on a majority of their Ace Combat and Ridge Racer series, in which he would usually contribute several songs, whilst working with other members of the sound team. Besides composition, Nakanishi is also an experienced sound designer, director, and programmer. Nakanishi is also active as a teacher for game audio at the CEDEC (Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association).

Nakanishi also believes if an inexperienced person is assigned to a video game role, it is best they delegate the work to the more experienced staff, so they're not alone in their endeavors.

Today, Nakanishi continues to work at Bandai Namco Games, working as both an audio director while still contributing music and sound effects.
