Tatsuya Shimizu, more commonly know by his main alias Tatsh, is a composer known primarily for his contributions to Konami's Bemani line of arcade rhythm games. His debut was in beatmania IIDX 10th style (ARC), and went on to compose some of the series' more iconic songs. In 2007, however, he left Konami citing health reasons, and returned in 2010 as a commissioned artist. Since leaving Konami he has also composed for series such as Taiko no Tatsujin and GROOVE COASTER, as well as Capcom's CROSSxBEATS (iOS).
He is one of the founders of Konami's in-house BEMANI record label, beatnation records, along with Takayuki Ishikawa, Yoshitaka Nishimura, and Toshiyuki Kakuta.
