Golden Disk's Pro Tracker
By some coincidence, there apparently exists another tool named 'Pro Tracker', which was also used to make game music. I know it's considerably more obscure but I think we could rename this page to avoid confusion. --Жукороп (talk) 09:30, 6 June 2022 (EDT)
- I was wondering exactly the same about Music Assembler, the name of two completely different C64 music editors by different authors, both used in games, both published by Markt & Technik Verlag, but only one famous. Perhaps the actual pages should be named like this:
- Music Assembler: Harald Rosenfeldt
- Music-Assembler: The USA-Team (the famous one)
- Protracker: Amiga Freelancers (the famous one)
- ProTracker: Golden Disk
- Note the different usage of hyphens vs. spaces and lower- vs. upper-case 't' in "tracker". (Yes, I pedantically search software for their own spellings inside. :P Honestly, I dislike when developers spell their own work inconsistently... usually go with something like the most common one.) The following pages should probably exist either as disambiguation or redirects to the famous one (with a link on top to the other one):
- I won't do anything right away, but the next time I focus on MOD altogether. But if anyone else wants to do or say something, go ahead. --Professor Chaos (talk) 18:10, 6 June 2022 (EDT)
