Steve Newton is an American jazz bass player and has been teaching it for over 20 years. He holds a degree in Electric Jazz Bass Performance from the University of Miami. While in Florida, he composed the music to three games developed by Gunnar Games. He currently lives in Seattle, Washington and still plays and teaches music. He is the bassist in the Seattle rock band Ragnarocknroll.
