Stellar 7 for DOS is a remake of the 1983 game Stellar 7 (A2). You pilot a powerful futuristic tank called the Raven and you must fight your way through a wave of hostile enemy ships that are trying to take over the planet. Once you destroy the various enemies a guardian boss will descend and fight you. If you can battle your way through all seven levels of enemies, you'll have to confront the evil Gir Draxon, the man responsible for the invasion.
The game has been improved quite a bit from the original. The 3D models are now composed of opaque colored panels, though they remain unshaded and untextured. The game also features full screen cut-scenes, voice, and music, though it's quite dated now.

Music
The title music has a nice professional orchestral sound to it, but unfortunately the level music is quite repetitive and uninspired, mostly composed of a bass line and drums for rhythm. It gets the job done, but wants for more melody. One nice aspect of the music is how it increases in complexity and tempo as you reach the final boss.
Recording
The current recording was done during actual gameplay using the Sound Blaster setting. A recording using the Roland MT-32 synthesizer should be made.
