Stage 5 is the short eerie tune that plays in stage 5 among the dangerous waterfalls in The Goonies (FC). The song appears in the other ports based on the Famicom version as well.

The song uses a slower tempo and relies heavily on bass and a higher pitch wah sound. The title comes from its location in the game, and follows the precedence of other stage music from the official album.

Space Between Stages play as the background music for brief sections of the game that act as an intermediate from one stage to another. This includes the two caves after stage 2, the cave after stage 4 and the cave after stage 5. These areas are good locations to find diamonds.

This track is not included on the official album. It is track 6 in the NSF file. The PlayChoice-10 and Vs. System games use music identical to the Famicom.
