Music

Yet another superb soundtrack by the Follin brothers. The soundtrack has a mix of cheesy music and more serious tunes. According to an interview with The Legacy Music Hour, Tim originally created songs with a cheesy theme but was requested to tone it down:[1]

The thing is that some of the music is actually a little more serious than it should have been give the game[...] I did start out with full on cheese and the wa wa guitar and all that kind of stuff, and then I think the client didn't like it. And I think what happened was whoever it was we were working for was saying "Can we ease back on the [...] 70s [...] cheese?"

On Kevin Edwardson's twitter, he shared pictures of faxes from Paul Provenzano from Acclaim who gave game feedback during development, who may or may not be the person or part of the entity that Tim was referring to.[2][3]

The ending music is odd. What is that Count Basie stuff doing playing while MurderWorld is blowing up???? This seems real strange. PLEASE CHANGE THIS-NICE MUSIC-BUT IT IS IN THE WRONG PLACE. CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE NEW STUFF.

Tim confirmed that Geoff did the Wolverine[4] and Storm[5] tracks.

According to Tim's now defunct website, he composed the following tracks:[6]

X-Men - written by Brother Mike. Yet again comedy strikes in a 'game complete' moment. I can't help myself. The title reminded me of the A-Team, so I haven't included it here.
