Shohei Tsuchiya is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He has been with Taito's Zuntata for many years and plays bass in the band. He started off working at FromSoftware before joining Taito.

Tsuchiya has a collection of over 1,000 CDs, and listens to all kinds of genres. As a result, he has a very complex musical style that was highly acclaimed for his work on Dariusburst. Shohei also likes to play video games; both modern and retro.

Today, Tsuchiya continues his work as a composer for Zuntata and Taito. He may also be related to Takayuki Tsuchiya, who was credited in many of the same games as a promoter.
