Shinya Yamada is a Japanese game developer who worked at Namco. While Shinya did not write music for Namco, he programmed their SNES audio driver, which was used in several titles.
Audio Development
Shinya's SNES driver is based on Nintendo's Kankichi-kun sound driver. According to Yoshinori Kawamoto, he used a program similar to a tracker from Nintendo, so it's possible this process was used to make all of Namco's SNES music.
