Shaun Hollingworth is the unofficial name of the audio driver designed by Shaun Hollingworth for the Genesis. The driver was used in a couple dozen Genesis games from 1992-1995.
According to Matt Furniss, the primary user of the driver, he created the music and sound effects on a program for the Atari 1040 Mega ST. According to Matt, the program did not have a name. The program was a tracker, and Matt would do the instrument design for the games he worked on.
Output
The audio driver used the built-in YM2612 and SN76496 chips of the Genesis.
