Searching For the Enemy is played in E1M2, E1M6, E4M2, and E4M6 of Wolfenstein 3D (DOS).

The song is the 12th music file in the AudioT.WL6 file, and its title in the IMF meta data is simply "SEARCHN", and in-game jukebox name is "Searching". Because of this, some sites still list the title as simply "Searchin'" or "Searching".

Like the other tunes, this does not play in the game. Probably it was meant for the same levels as it was in original version.

Despite of the superiorsound generator, this is of lower quality. The result is mostly based on the original MIDI version, not OPL3 used in MS-DOS original.

Due to the usage of shareware DOS Wolfenstein 3D files for music and sound, this version has the same sound with the original. However, it plays in the first and the only level in the whole game. Despite this, and the fact it's a pretty short tune, it most probably won't become annoying for listeners, since it perfectly fit the game.

Metadata is still "SEARCHN".
