Over the title screen, a medley of Ted Nichols's music and The Villain's Theme plays.

Elite Systems ordered a title song from Paul Hughes and Peter Clarke for £600. Clarke arranged this song in Electrosound 64, and Hughes had it integrated into the game. Upon delivery, Elite paid only £400, as they paid somebody else for sound effects.

The melody at 2:55–3:10 sounds slightly different on every machine because it uses the SID chip's unstable low-pass filter. In the rip, it is track 1.

Lyrics

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?
We got some work to do now.
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?
We need some help from you now.

Come on, Scooby-Doo, I see you,
pretending you got a sliver.
You're not fooling me, 'cause I can see,
the way you shake and shiver.

You know we got a mystery to solve,
so Scooby-Doo, be ready for your act.
Don't hold back!
And, Scooby-Doo, if you come through,
you're going to have yourself a Scooby Snack!
That's a fact!

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, here are you.
You're ready and you're willing.
If we can count on you, Scooby-Doo,
I know we'll catch that villain.
