How to Obtain
SMP files usually have to be manually extracted from game files, a process that is different for pretty much every game that uses them.
Technical
Every file must begin with SM8, 0, 0, and 1. The SMP extension is exposed along with other Palladix extensions in Magic of Endoria (DOS), Atlas (DOS), and Wissoll-Circus-Trophy (DOS).
Only unsigned 8-bit PCM in mono are supported. The frequency is not given in hertz, but as a programmable interval timer.
