Music

Jake Kaufman said about his music work at Q*bert:

My first COMMERCIAL game soundtrack. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, and I’m pretty sure they just wanted stupid little jingles for the beginning of each stage. I somehow got it into my head that this was some kind of action reboot of the series, like Pac-Land was to Pac-Man. Not so; it’s just a straight remake of the old arcade Q*Bert. So the music tracks are HILARIOUSLY out of place here, and I enjoyed every second of it.

The soundtrack includes an updated version of the Game Start theme from the arcade version, but is otherwise original.

Recording

These recordings were made using foobar2000 with exporting to OGG (Vorbis) format.
