Pure Sound (stylized as PURE SOUND Inc., 株式会社ピュアサウンド) is a Japanese company founded by Kiyohiro Sada in 1993. The company specializes in audio production for video games.

Music Development

Kiyohiro Sada programmed the sound driver. He said this about creating music on the Game Boy Color:

We entered 1-byte hexadecimal data on a text editor.

Each time the data is updated, the assembly process and link process are performed and auditioned.

It is a job that requires great patience.

Note: The games listed here are the ones which either list Pure Sound in the credits, or we have received verification that they worked on the game.
