Paul Tankard is an English composer, sound designer, and sound programmer. He first started working on music and sound effects for Commodore computers. In 1997, he started working at Runecraft as a sound programmer. He left Runecraft in 2002 and then worked at BBC Worldwide a year later. Since November 2004, he has been working at SUMO Digital as a programmer.

Amiga
For Alien World and Operation Firestorm, Paul used the second version of NoisePacker.
For Dalek Attack, Dennis, F1 - World Championship Edition, Jungle Strike, Suburban Commando, and both Thomas the Tank Engine games, Paul used Protracker. It is unknown where the instrument samples are sourced from, but it was possibly Soundtracker.
Commodore 64
In the 1990s, Tankard used Music-Assembler. Since 2003, he uses GoatTracker. He always had a 6581.
