OSTER project is the main alias of a prominent figure in the Japanese VOCALOID scene, having produced songs since 2007 where she first produced under the name FutanariP (ふたなりP). She did this hoping that people would listen to her songs from a gender-neutral standpoint, as "futanari" is the Japanese term for hermaphroditism. She disclosed her gender when she switched to the "OSTER project" alias in 2010. Her real name is currently unknown.

Since 2012, she has also become a composer for Konami's Bemani line of arcade rhythm games. She is one of the members of a branch of Konami's in-house BEMANI record label, beatnation records, called beatnation RHYZE. She was chosen as an addition to the label by Takayuki Ishikawa (aka dj TAKA).
