Nigel Spencer was an Australian game developer. He was usually credited for programming, but received a few music credits. In 1985, he started to work for Beam Software, where he worked up until 1990. He then moved to California and worked for Cinemaware for a year. Coincidentally, he ported their game Rocket Ranger to the NES while working at Beam Software. Then, since 1999, was working at Mass Media Games.
On December 13, 2020, it was announced on Nigel's personal Facebook page that he had passed away the week prior.
