New Board plays in Anticipation (NES) when the game first starts and when a player or computer ascends to a new level after collecting all four colored cards. It was later used in Marble Madness (NES).

The song was composed and arranged by David Wise in 6502 assembly using hexadecimal numbers for notation into the Rare sound driver programmed by Chris Stamper and Mark Betteridge.
