Mitsuhito Tanaka (better known as John Pee) is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He joined Tecmo around 1989 during their NES development and worked on their games, usually alongside other composers. He later started working for Sting.

It appears he left the game industry in 1997.

Audio Development

NES

For his work with Tecmo, Mitsuhito used Super Sound Machine, programmed by Keiji Yamagishi. Music was entered the traditional way, in standard hexadecimal notation.

SNES

Tanaka used a variant of Nintendo's Kankichi-kun.
