Miki Higashino (formerly Miki Yanagisawa, now currently Miki Ishikawa) is a Japanese composer. She joined Konami in 1984 as a student and part-time composer. Her first soundtracks for Gradius and Salamander are among her best-known works. She was initially offered full-time employment by Konami, but she turned down the offer at first in favor of another company, before accepting it later on. As a result of being a part of Konami's sound team, she was also a part of the Konami Kukeiha Club under the pseudonym "MIKI-CHANG".
Miki retired from the game industry for a time to focus on her family, but has since returned.
