Mike Webb is a British programmer and producer who was involved in many video games.
More influentially, he created Mikes Assembler for the Einstein computer, in which many 8-bit games, sound drivers and songs became real. By 1985-08-05, Andy Hieke and Webb had founded Binary Design, although Webb soon moonlighted for Elite Systems and asked favors from Binary employees.
In 1986, Webb and Richard Kay founded Software Creations. Webb figured out how they could develop for the Nintendo Entertainment System, programmed their SNES sound engine, and was their chairman until liquidation in 2002. It is unknown what he does since.
Webb emigrated in August 2003 to Australia with his wife and three kids. Since 2010, he lives separated by the Brisbane River, Queensland.
