Michihiko Shichi is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and audio director. He has been active in the industry since 1995.
His career in the video game industry started around 1995 when he worked for Yusuke Takahama's Target Entertainment, a company specializing in video game audio. In 1996, he started working for Koei in Yokohama as a sound designer, and is perhaps best known for his work on many games in the Dynasty Warriors series. He later became an audio director for the company before departing in 2005. For instruments, Michihiko plays the electric bass.
Today, Shichi is still active as a video game composer, working for tri-Ace as a Sound Director, and has been with the company since leaving Koei. There, he is known for his work on the Star Ocean series.
