Few players ever reach the coveted rank of Megalopolis. There's just barely enough space on the map to fit the required 500,000 people needed for the rank. When, and if, you reach this rank you'll first hear the Congratulations On Megalopolis fanfare and music, before hearing the actual background music. The song plays at a pretty fast tempo, but then takes a break and plays a short homage to the original Village tune to remind you of your roots. The title comes from the Nintendo Super Famicom Game Music compilation album which also has an arranged version of the song. This track was also rearranged for the piano on the Nintendo Super Famicom Game Music ~ Fun Together With Beyer album.
