Masaaki Uno is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and audio director.

He started off around 1988 working at Wolf Team, primarily on the NEC line of computers. He started off working on his own, but when Motoi Sakuraba and Yasunori Shiono joined, he would work with them on most of the titles. In addition, he also formed a band called Sgt. Wolf Band.

He later left Wolf Team to work at Camelot, along with Sakuraba, where they still work to this day. As a result, they have worked on many of the Mario sports series of games. However, Uno is no longer a composer and instead receives credits as an audio director or sound designer.

In addition to his numerous credits for audio, he has also been credited for game design, production, and programming.
