Alex Rudis (better known as Lx Rudis) is an American video game composer and sound designer. He worked at Atari.

Music Composition

NES

Rudis used a tracker-like program on the NES created by David O'Riva.

GEN

Rudis used GEMS.

For his work at Tengen, his music was converted to Lisa Ching's sound driver.

Mario Lemieux Hockey uses Artech Studios' SEGA Music Development System, a precursor to GEMS.

Todd's Adventures in Slime World uses a custom sound driver, probably by Greg Omi.

LYNX

Rudis wrote music in assembly.

For Klax, Rudis sequenced his music on his Emu SP-12 drum machine, ported his music to Music-X on the Amiga, then converted the final files to assembly language. His music was played using a sample routine driver by Greg Omi.

SNES

Rudis used the SLICK/Audio sound engine by Bitmasters.
