Kinoko Kunimoto History Vol.3: Meikyuu Hector is a video game music album featuring music from two NES games composed by Takeaki Kunimoto; Milon's Secret Castle and Starship Hector. The bonus stage music from Milon's Secret Castle, composed by Daisuke Inoue, is also included.
The album contains several lives performances of the various songs from both games. Rather than contain in-game recordings of the game's music, the album actually contains the original demo tapes that Kunimoto sent to Hudson Soft to implement into the game. Unfortunately, the boss music from Starship Hector is not present among these demo tapes.
The booklet contains the tracklist with its performers, the leadsheets to the well music from Milon's Secret Castle and the title music from Starship Hector. It also contains a biography about Takeaki Kunimoto. In addition, it contains the lyrics for the track Meikyuu Enbukyoku, in Japanese, of course.
