Kazunari Mimura is a Japanese game programmer. He originally joined Namco, but later worked for Tomcat System in the early 90's and programmed games for the company. He also developed sound drivers with Takane Ohkubo, who also worked at Tomcat System. The two eventually broke off to form their own audio group Beat Maniac, which provided audio for video games.
Audio Development
Game Boy
Mimura programmed a sound driver for the Game Boy, and is only known to have been used in one game, Block Kuzushi GB. OeRSTED's president Sei Mochizuki would later create his own sound driver for the company.
SNES
Kazunari programmed a sound driver with Takane Ohkubo, as mentioned above. Since the company worked with Imagineer occasionally, Koji Hayashi would sometimes use their driver.
