Kazuhiko Toyama is a Japanese music composer and arranger. He is known for composing in a wide variety of styles from ethnic Japanese music to jazz and pop. In 1984, he resided in the United States and attended the Berklee College of Music, graduating at the top of his class. In addition, he made friends with film composer Jerry Goldsmith.

By the late 80s, he returned to Japan and entered the game industry. Here, he worked on the music primarily to CD-based platforms, but also did a few cartridge games as well. In the United States, he is perhaps best known for his arrangements in Soul Blazer. He also served as an arranger for a few games in the Wild Arms series.

Today, Toyama works at Company AZA, which provides music and sound for media.
