Kaori Nakabai is a Japanese composer and sound designer. She is a graduate from Conservatoire Shobi. She started off working at Tecmo around 1990. She was in charge of such gems as Ninja Gaiden III, Radia Senki Reimeihen, and Captain Tsubasa III. She also worked on arcade titles for the compan such as Final Star Force and Ganbare Ginkun. Later, Nakabai left Tecmo to work at Koei. There, she won the Grand Prix at the 4th AMDAward by the Digital Media Association for her outstanding work on Nobunaga no Yabou Internet.
Currently, Nakabai is a part of Ryuichi Nitta's music business Kajiya Music. She also works for Shinichi Sakamoto's music business Amata Corporation.
