Justin Muir is an Australian graphic artist and composer.

In 1992, he joined Beam Software as a graphic artist and left a couple years later with Bill McIntosh to join McIntosh's company Torus Games. While working there, he composed the music to a couple of their Game Boy titles.

In 2000, Muir left Torus and joined Transmission Games' Australian divisions. In October 2004, Muir became the animation director at Midway. When the company closed its doors, he started working at his last game company, Day:1 Studios in April of 2009. Currently, Muir works at Northwestern University as a lead animator.

It may be possible that Justin Muir is confused with Torus Games' other composer Justin Scharvona.

On his earlier works, Muir used Beam Software's sound driver, which was licensed to Torus Games.
