John Tipton is an American audio engineer and composer who worked at Origin Systems, Inc. from 1992-1995.
Tipton was born on September 15, 1966 on Forbes Air Base, Wichita, Kansas.
Tipton started writing music in high school (Ramstein Air Base) and joined the electronic band, Touch Gallery, in 1987, in Austin, Texas, where he continues to reside. After graduating from the University of Texas in 1992, he contracted with Origin Systems working with Randy Buck in the studio. This led to a permanent position creating sound fx and music.
